MEET THE CHEF

Otto Tay's journey began in Muar, Malaysia, where his passion for pastry ignited. Starting in various roles within the bakery, hotel, and pastry instruction fields, he quickly rose through the ranks to become a prominent culinary figure.

His expertise blossomed in Kuala Lumpur at Hotel Maya and the KLCC Convention Centre. He shared his knowledge at the Academy of Pastry Arts in Malaysia and the Pastry Academy, Dobla Asia, in Vietnam. Otto's excellence shone through in competitions, earning titles like Malaysia's Most Outstanding Young Pastry Chef and leading his team to victory at the Asian Pastry Cup 2018 and the World Pastry Cup in Lyon, France.

Beyond competitions, Otto collaborates with top dessert brands and hosts masterclasses worldwide. His seamless blend of Asian and European influences has earned global admiration. With dedication and passion, Chef Otto Tay continues to inspire and elevate the art of dessert making across many countries.
